About AddictingSports
AddictingSports is an independent daily sports-game platform for fans who want to test what they know, finish quickly, and come back tomorrow. We design and operate the games ourselves, maintain the sports-data pipeline behind them, and review the rules that decide whether a puzzle is ready to publish.
What we make
The arcade includes a shared Daily 10, Sports Globe, a daily sports crossword, Mystery Athlete, roster-building challenges, and replayable knowledge games. Each format has its own scoring and validation rules rather than serving the same quiz inside a different wrapper.
Why the games are free
Anyone can start a published game without downloading an app or creating an account. Optional accounts preserve identity and creation features across devices. Advertising and paid creator features help fund hosting, licensed services, data processing, and continued editorial work.
Our publishing standard
A game is advertised as live only when it is playable and backed by production-ready data. A daily puzzle is released only after its answer, scope, source record, and player-facing wording pass the format's checks. We do not replace missing data with fabricated questions.
Built for actual play
We test touch targets, layouts, state recovery, scoring, replay, and completion flows on phone-sized and desktop viewports. A page description is not treated as a finished game: the controls and full player loop must work.
Independence and feedback
AddictingSports is not affiliated with the leagues, teams, schools, or athletes referenced in its games. Players can use the Contact page to report a bug, question a fact, request a game, or ask about privacy and account data.
